What we have done already

After the home inspection we decided that before we moved in would be a good time to do some of these necessities that were recommended by the home inspector:


* New hot water heater
* Fixed a small gas leak
* Dug out around a pipe under the house- (recommended by the home inspector) and cleaned up debris under the house
* New vent fan for the sub floor in the basement
* Added some insulation in areas in attic that needed more
* Added overhead lights in the three bedrooms upstairs
* New sup-pump
* All of the windows need to be replaced- they are wood and are in pretty bad shape. We choose a great window company (after meeting with three) and ordered new windows for the ones on the south side of the house- they needed to be replaced the most. The rest will be done down the road. So they are ordered and should be installed within the next month.

Not a fun way to spend money but it sure gives a sense of peace knowing that these things are new and in working order!
